    Transaction Links

The main area of the screen contains hyperlinks to all of the transactions to which you have access. The transactions are grouped according to their business function: Eligibility, Billing, Health Management, Administration, etc. Click on any of the hyperlinks to open the transaction.

    What's New Messages

The top of the screen contains communications from BCBSNC. See the What's New help topic for more details.

Related Links and "How to Use"

The right side of the screen contains two sections: Related Links and "How to Use". The "How to Use" section contains simulations of all transactions available for users. The simulations provide a training overview by taking the viewer step-by-step through the requirements to access and interpret specific transactions. Most of the simulations take only a couple of minutes to run. Select a transaction from the dropdown menu and click the Go button to view the simulation. When you are finished, you can close the simulation window. Your Blue e session remains open in the background. Please note that some of the simulations listed may be for transactions you do not see in the left side of your display. Depending on your user role, you may not have access to all of the transactions that are delivered by Blue e.

The Related Links section contains links to other Web sites, such as ePrescribe, that healthcare providers may use frequently. Related Links also contains links to BCBSNC documents, such as the Provider Blue Book.
